Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Springfield, MO is seeking an Information Security Admin II to oversee day-to-day cybersecurity activities, including installation and troubleshooting of security solutions. The role is on-site with no remote option.

Responsibilities include monitoring security systems, coordinating with engineers to ensure compliance and performance, and conducting audits. Requires Associate's degree or equivalent training and 7–12 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent technical training/certification.
• 7–12 months sound experience with straightforward procedures or systems.
• Basic experience coordinating the work of others (4–6 months).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems used for security operations, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection/anti-virus, and secure messaging platforms.
• Work with security engineers to ensure systems meet compliance and are performant.
• Work with security engineers to evaluate, test, and recommend new security tooling and capabilities.
• Perform regular security system audits and configuration reviews to ensure baselines are enforced and maintained.
• Provide fault isolation and resolution to limit and address issues promptly.
• Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.
• Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
• Identify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Participate in security operations incident response as needed.
• Explore and develop a basic understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
