Quantam Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) in the Kentucky area. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as an IT Project Manager, including senior-level PM roles.
  • Experience managing technology projects from planning and requirements gathering through implementation and delivery.
  • Strong project planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, resources, and budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience developing or supporting RF Ps, RFIs, POCs and technology evaluations.
  • PM P certification or other recognized project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Gather and document project requirements while coordinating activities across stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and leadership.
  • Facilitate project meetings, prepare and deliver status updates, and communicate progress, risks, issues, and decisions.
  • Proactively identify, track and mitigate project risks and issues while ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Manage project resources and support procurement activities, including budgets, invoices, contracts, and vendor deliverables.
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, action items, decisions, and artifacts per PM standards and best practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) within the Division of Enterprise and Technology Services. This position will play a key role in managing enterprise technology initiatives and coordinating projects across business, technical, vendor, and leadership teams.

The Enterprise Project Management Office supports a variety of functions, including project management, procurement, training, and data analytics. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading complex IT projects from initiation through implementation while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Delivery: Lead IT projects from initiation through completion, managing project scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder & Team Coordination: Gather and document project requirements while coordinating activities across business stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, infrastructure, security, and organizational leadership.
  • Communication & Reporting: Facilitate project meetings, prepare and deliver project status updates, and communicate progress, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
  • Risk, Quality & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track and mitigate project risks and issues while ensuring deliverables meet established quality standards.
  • Resource, Budget & Procurement Support: Manage project resources and support procurement-related activities, including tracking budgets, invoices, contracts, and vendor deliverables.
  • Project Governance: Maintain project documentation, schedules, action items, decisions, and other project artifacts in accordance with established project management standards and best practices.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as an IT Project Manager, including experience in a senior-level project management role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technology projects from planning and requirements gathering through implementation and delivery.
  • Strong project planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, resources, and budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience developing or supporting Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Proofs of Concept (POCs), and technology evaluations.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, processes, and industry best practices.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or another recognized project management certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
