Job summary

ConsultUSA is seeking an IT Program Manager for a 12+ month hybrid contract in Arlington, TX. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage complex programs, and align technology initiatives with business goals.

You will drive delivery, oversee budgets and resources, and collaborate with executives, engineers and product teams to accelerate modernization while controlling costs.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in technology program leadership roles.
  • Experience in financial services or loan origination & lending preferred.
  • Experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to manage up to 15 projects simultaneously.
  • Experience leading large, complex project teams with diverse tech stacks.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing program plans, budgets, and resources.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder influence across levels.

Job description

Our client is seeking an IT Program Manager for a 12+ month hybrid contract in Arlington, TX.

Job Duties:

  • Communicating up and down the stack –interacting with executives, engineers and architects, business groups and shared services
  • Leading the tech standardization efforts to streamline technology and tools needed to support business needs
  • Support the assessment of technology capabilities to drive modernization activities
  • Build and develop effective relationships with different IT and product teams to find opportunities for increase business value while modernizing our applications
  • Drive an effective delivery approach and think out of the box to deliver value quickly while managing costs strategically
  • Document and conduct presentations for technical, business and leadership audiences to promote strategy and communicate progress on assigned initiatives
  • Support in planning activities across goals, KRs, KPIs etc. as it relates to program outcomes
  • Assist with change management activities for the team and beyond
  • Champion the financials of the assigned program, and support inputs to yearly budget, and ongoing financial planning
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and driving operational efficiency within the program

Required Skills:

  • Experience working with both agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to manage up to 15 projects simultaneously
  • Experience in managing large, complex project teams using a variety of methodologies and supporting technologies
  • Ability to use AI tools such as Copilot to create a WBS and expedite turnarounds
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage program plans, budgets, and resources effectively
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive consensus and manage stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to identify and understand technical dependencies between initiatives
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in technology program leadership roles required
  • Financial services industry, Loan origination & lending experience preferred

Licenses:

  • PMP, Scrum Master, PgMP and PMI-ACP certifications are a plus.
