Job summary

UCLA's Division of Physical Sciences seeks an experienced Information Systems Manager to lead administrative and technical IT services across six departments and two institutes. Qualifications

• Five or more years of previous systems management (Required).
• Five or more years of systems programming experience (Required).
• Five or more years of management large, multi-protocol networks (Required).
• Up-to-date knowledge of servers, workplaces, switches, etc. (Required).
• Experience leading diverse IT professionals and providing high-end computational services (Required).
• Familiarity with software licensing and cloud applications for research fields (Required).
• Excellent communication skills for UCLA constituencies (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical leadership of the Physical Sciences network across six departments and two institutes.
• Oversee operation of the interdivisional Science Learning Center.
• Represent Physical Sciences on campus-wide committees such as Common Systems Group, Campus Computing Council, Standards & Practices Group.
