Qualifications

• Minimum five years of systems management experience.
• Minimum five years of systems programming experience.
• Five+ years of managing large, multi-protocol networks.
• Up-to-date knowledge of servers, workstations, switches, and related tech.
• Experience leading a diverse IT team delivering computational services for research.
• Familiarity with software licensing and cloud applications for specialized research fields.
• Excellent communication with UCLA constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical leadership of the Physical Sciences network.
• Oversee operation of the interdivisional Science Learning Center.
• Represent Physical Sciences on campus-wide committees and groups.
