Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Information System Security Officer to ensure security compliance and achieve or maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) for systems. You will work with application leads, administrators, developers, and testers to implement RMF processes, manage artifacts, and support security assessment events in a Washington, DC, on-site environment.

The role requires active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance and extensive experience in risk assessments, security policies,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with application leads, sys admins, DBAs, developers, and testers to ensure security compliance and ATO.
• Follow the RMF process for full/partial/CONMON/ no test scenarios.
• Update Xacta documentation: SSPs, SCTM, STPs, POAMs.
• Load artifacts including STIGs and ACAS scans; mitigate findings.
• Support security assessment events and respond to inquiries from PAT, ISSMs, and SCAs.
