Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to safeguard networks and systems, ensuring data security, integrity, and confidentiality. The role focuses on designing IA/security architectures, evaluating vulnerabilities, and leading RMF activities to achieve ATO across complex enclave environments.

The position requires a Bachelor's with 14+ years (or advanced degrees with related experience) and Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

Experience loading artifacts such as STIG checklists and ACAS scans.
Experience helping to implement STIG checklists and mitigate scan findings.
Experience supporting security assessment events and responding to questions from PAT team, ISSMs, and SCA.
Experience working with application leads, sysadmins, DBAs, developers, and testers to ensure systems are security compliant and achieve/maintain ATO.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates IA and security systems across multiple enclaves.
Analyzes architecture and system functionality for various technologies.
Contributes to development and evaluation of attack scenarios.
Prepares and delivers technical reports and briefings.
Implements Risk Management Framework across program systems/networks.
Performs security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
Validates security requirements and designs for systems.
Supports building security architectures and trusted relationships with external systems.
