Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Information System Security Officer to ensure security compliance and achieve or maintain Authority to Operate (ATO). You will work with application leads, admins, developers, and testers through the RMF process and manage Xacta artifacts.

The role includes loading STIGs/ACAS, mitigating findings, and supporting security assessment events, while responding to PAT, ISSMs, and SCAs inquiries to protect organizational information assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems are security compliant and maintain ATO.
• Follow RMF for full/partial tests, CONMON, and no test scenarios.
• Update SSPs, SCTMs, STPs, POAMs in Xacta documentation.
• Load artifacts like STIG checklists and ACAS scans.
• Mitigate findings and support security assessments.
• Respond to PAT, ISSM, and SCA inquiries.
