Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Information System Security Officer to work with application leads, system administrators, database administrators, developers, and testers to ensure assigned systems are security compliant and achieve or maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).

Responsibilities include RMF processing for full/partial test, CONMON, and no-test scenarios; updating SSPs, SCTMs, STPs, and POAMs in Xacta; loading STIG checklists and ACAS scans; supporting ST&E by answering questions from

Qualifications

Experience implementing RMF for DoD/IC systems and achieving/maintaining ATO.
Proven ability to develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures.
Experience loading and managing STIGs, ACAS scans, and security artifacts.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with application leads, system admins, database admins, developers and testers to ensure security compliance.
Follow RMF for full test, partial test, CONMON, and no-test scenarios.
Update SSPs, SCTMs, STPs, and POAMs in Xacta.
Load artifacts such as STIG checklists and ACAS scans and mitigate findings.
Support security assessment events and respond to ST&E, ISSM, and SCA inquiries.
