Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Senior Information System Security Officer to drive security compliance across applications, systems, and teams. You will lead RMF activities and ensure Authority to Operate (ATO) for key systems.

You will load and manage STIGs/ACAS artifacts, update SSPs and related plans, and respond to investigations from the ST&E team and ISSMs. A strong background in risk assessment and incident response is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 19+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience developing and enforcing security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems are security compliant and maintain ATO.
• Follow RMF for full/partial tests and continuous monitoring.
• Update SSPs, SCTMs, STPs, and POAMs in Xacta.
• Load STIGs and ACAS scans; mitigate findings.
• Support security assessment events and answer questions from ST&E, ISSMs, SCAs.
