Job summary

Amentum seeks a Sr. Information System Security Officer to support Program Offices within DoW SSP.

The ISSO will oversee non-enterprise information systems for large programs of record and multiple S&T programs, onsite at NSWC Crane with regular travel to SPHQ or Field Activities. Responsibilities include maintaining the cybersecurity posture, defining system security objectives, developing security authorization packages, RMF-based controls, and coordinating with SSP officials and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Ability to obtain TS/CNWDI US Government Clearance; Interim Secret clearance to start; US Citizenship required.
• Willing and able to travel 40% or more.

Responsibilities

• Support System ISSO to ensure accreditation and security procedures.
• Maintain operational cybersecurity posture for systems under their purview.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and authorization packages.
• Implement RMF-based controls and security configurations.
• Coordinate with SSP officials, URs, and contractors on cybersecurity incidents and tests.
• Develop System Security Plans detailing controls and security measures.
