Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Sr. Information System Security Engineer to support DoD War SSP programs and on non-enterprise information systems for large-scale programs of record.

The ISSE will provide direct on-site support at NSWC Crane with regular travel to SPHQ and field activities. Responsibilities include developing system security plans, cybersecurity requirements, and risk-informed designs; coordinating with SSP stakeholders and program offices; and ensuring DoW acquisition processes align with

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• OS/CE certificate of training as dictated by Command CWF-PM.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/CNWDI US Government Clearance; Interim Secret clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply requirements for large-scale or service specific pilot projects.
• Support the Program Office Technical Lead identifying issues and action items; participate in ISSE discussions.
• Provide customer interactions with Program Offices and associated contractors/subcontractors.
• Coordinate with SSP stakeholders through assessments, proposals, and meetings.
• Develop System Security Plans detailing security controls for information systems.
• Support DoW Acquisition process in development of OQE for multiple programs; ensure compliance with SSP regulations.
• Work with SSP programs to develop lifecycle plans.
