SAIC is hiring Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSE) to support a national security-focused customer by providing system security engineering services and/or products to ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of customer-developed and deployed systems and networks. The ISSE will ensure core security engineering principles are implemented into assigned programs' information systems architecture.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components.
  2. Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, including those with differing data protection/classification requirements.
  3. Apply knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
  • Fourteen years of IA System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) experience, including recent experience within the last five years, with Defense-in-Depth principles and technology, including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and network and enterprise security architecture.
  • Two years of experience applying security risk assessment methodology to system development, including threat model development, vulnerability assessments, and security risk analysis.
  • Knowledge of Federal, NSA, IC, and DoD Information Security regulations, publications, and policies.
  • Current CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP Certification.
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering, which may be substituted for six years of experience.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis, with no deadline.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
