Job summary

Aleron seeks a Senior Specialist, Information Security Systems Engineer in Palm Bay, FL for a 12‑month contract. You will support security engineering activities, RMF/A&A processes, and vulnerability management to strengthen information systems and security architectures.

You will collaborate with program security teams, apply DISA SRGs, STIGs, and industry standards, and drive security improvements across DoD programs and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of RMF accreditation and A&A processes with BoE package development.
• 10+ years in A&A package processing and DoD software selection.
• 10+ years applying DISA SRGs and STIGs to systems.
• 10+ years using cybersecurity tools such as ACAS, Nessus, and SCC.
• Experience with MBSE, CI/CD, agile development, and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Support security engineering activities from requirements to design and test.
• Develop policies for emerging security technologies with program security teams.
• Assist vulnerability assessment and strengthen system security.
• Evaluate security architecture improvements and vulnerability responses.
• Contribute to obsolescence replacement and security architecture projects.
