Job summary

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is seeking a Security Specialist for a fully remote role. The candidate will provide security support across planning, design, development, testing and integration of information systems, including RMF documentation and STIG remediation.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of DoD cyber security experience, RMF expertise, and O&M readiness; strong collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active IAM Level II certification or equivalent (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO) required.
• 10+ years of related cyber security experience across DoD environments and RMF.
• Experience with RMF, eMASS, ACAS and Air Force A&A processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide cyber security support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration and integration of information systems.
• Develop System Security Plans using RMF for DoD IT.
• Perform STIG reviews, remediation and results.
• Lead mitigation of vulnerabilities from security scans.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet business needs and user requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers and end users to ensure designs meet requirements.
