Job summary

Harris Computer seeks an experienced information security leader to design and run client security programs that meet regulatory and industry requirements. You will advise executives on strategy, policies, and incident response, oversee risk assessments, audits, and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS), and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver secure solutions and training.

The role involves steering committees, vendor coordination, and developing disaster recovery and business

Qualifications

• Five+ years in information security leadership (CISO, vCISO, or senior);
• Three+ years in security operations, engineering, vulnerability management, or system administration;
• Consulting or managed services across regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, government).
• Hands-on with NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS controls and audits.
• Experience guiding external audits and risk assessments; data protection tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implements client information security programs meeting requirements.
• Advise executives on information security strategy, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Update client executives on security plan progress, threats, and incidents.
• Develop and maintain policies for confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
• Oversee security testing programs and incident response within SLAs.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver secure solutions and training.
• Lead or participate in client steering committees and working groups.
• Coordinate with client security teams on incident detection, response, and resolution.
