Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to safeguard networks and systems to the highest standards, ensuring data security, integrity, and confidentiality across classified environments.

You will design, implement, and assess IA controls, support RMF/C&A, perform vulnerability assessments, and coordinate with engineers, admins, and testers to achieve and maintain ATO, including STIG/ACAS artifacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience in information security.
• Master's degree with 12+ years of experience.
• PhD with 10+ years of experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements and integrates IA and security systems for multi-enclave environments.
• Performs or reviews security assessments and vulnerability mitigation.
• Supports RMF/C&A processes and security planning activities.
• Loads STIG checklists and ACAS scans; mitigates findings.
• Works with application leads, admins, DBAs, developers and testers to ensure security and ATO attainment.
