Job summary

Amentum seeks a Sr. Information System Security Officer to support SSP program offices and large-scale PORs. The ISSO will ensure cybersecurity posture, develop security documentation, and coordinate with Program Office Technical Lead onsite at NSWC Crane, with regular travel to SPHQ and field activities.

Responsibilities include implementing RMF, developing security plans, and timely vulnerability management. Requires TS/ CNWDI clearance, 5+ years of experience, and readiness to travel 40%+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/CNWDI US Government Clearance (Interim Secret to start).
• Willingness to travel 40% or more.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems are accredited and procedures are in place.
• Implement RMF security controls and document security measures.
• Develop System Security Plans and Security Authorization Packages.
• Coordinate with SSP stakeholders and Program Offices.
• Provide on-site support at NSWC Crane and travel to SPHQ/Field Activities.
