Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Senior Information Security Specialist to strengthen our compliance function as we scale. This role sits at the intersection of compliance delivery, content, and team support. You will own the compliance knowledge inside our platform and mentor junior specialists.

You’ll partner with CS, Product, and Founders to align compliance with customer needs and product roadmap, and you’ll lead audits for strategic customers.

Qualifications

• German (C1/C2) and English fluent required.
• 5+ years hands-on information security and GRC in B2B SaaS.
• Led 3+ ISO 27001 certification projects as implementer/auditor.
• Hands-on experience with a GRC platform.
• Cloud readiness across AWS, Azure, and GCP; remediation planning.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the compliance roadmap inside the platform across ISO 27001, TISAX, SOC 2, GDPR, NIS 2, DORA, ISO 27017/27018, and more.
• Implement ISO 27001 end-to-end for customers.
• Mentor and upskill the compliance team; review work and audits.
• Conduct internal audits for strategic customers and review junior audits.
• Act as compliance partner to CSMs and sales reps; join customer calls when needed.
• Own the quality of compliance content in the platform; create policies and templates.
• Close framework gaps and incorporate auditor feedback into product and practice.
• Partner with product and engineering to translate gaps into product work.
• Collaborate with CS, Product, and Founders to align priorities.
• Deepen relationships with certification partners and train auditors.
