Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a senior compliance professional to lead policy drafting, monitoring plans, and regulatory reporting across EU-regulated activities. You will work with regulators, auditors, and governance bodies to deliver compliant, business-ready outputs.

The role emphasizes AML/CFT, horizon scanning, and engagement with Luxembourg regulators where applicable; fluent English is required, French is a plus. Role requires 3–5 days in the office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance experience within EU-regulated financial institutions.
• Knowledge of EU financial regulations (MiCA, PSD2, AMLD, MiFID II, DORA, GDPR).
• Experience preparing materials for regulators, auditors, and governance bodies.
• Experience leading monitoring/testing programs with remediation tracking.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a strong advantage for Luxembourg regulators.
• Familiarity with crypto assets and MiCA implementation is preferred.
• Ability to use AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, maintenance, and updating of local compliance policies aligned with EU/regulatory requirements and group standards.
• Own the Compliance Monitoring Plan and execute thematic reviews with the Central Compliance Testing & Assurance team.
• Drive regulatory engagement by preparing materials for inspections, queries, and governance bodies, and coordinating annual regulatory reports.
• Execute consumer protection monitoring on conflicts of interest, transparency, and disclosure; support Compliance by Design reviews for new products and services.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting obligations, liaise with data teams and stakeholders; support AML/CFT implementation and horizon scanning for emerging laws.
