Job summary

ICW Group in San Diego, CA, seeks an Information Security Engineer IV to design secure architectures and drive cybersecurity initiatives across all ICW systems. You will lead incident response, implement risk-based security controls, and collaborate with engineering teams to align with policy and standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering/cybersecurity/computer science and at least 10 years in security engineering, with cloud security experience on AWS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Networking, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 10 years in a security engineering role.
• 3-5 years of AWS Cloud Security experience preferred.
• Experience with IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM, and forensics tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitors networks and systems for security breaches and develops response strategies.
• Leads security incident response from preparation to recovery.
• Researches methods to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Maintains security standards and conducts risk assessments and reports.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to implement secure designs.
