Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems LLC is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support the Army NetMod program. The role focuses on network and computing environment support, intrusion detection, and risk analysis to ensure compliance with IA/CND requirements.

Eligible candidates must hold a Bachelor’s in Information Security, possess or be able to obtain an active Secret clearance, and be a U.S. citizen. The position offers competitive salary and benefits in a DoD contracting environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years in the DoD contracting market of major weapon systems product development and acquisitions.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance tools such as STIG Viewer and eMASS
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide network environment and advanced level computing environment support
• Pay special attention to intrusion detection, finding and fixing unprotected vulnerabilities, and ensuring that remote access points are well secured
• Collect data from CND tools to analyze events in their environment
• Audit function for certification and accreditation packages or Certification of Net worthiness
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and incident responses.
• Actively monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and potential security breaches
• Communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, including presentations.
