Qualifications

• 10+ years as Computer Network Architect.
• 5+ years DoD networking experience preferred.
• CCNP/CCNA/VCP-NV certifications required or preferred.
• Experience with simulations and capacity planning.
• Researching network hardware and software to meet requirements.
• Foundational TCP/IP, UDP, MPLS knowledge.
• Experience with network automation and scripting preferred.
• Network design with BGP, OSPF routing protocols.
• Monitoring and upgrading network performance.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement computer networks.
• Assess NETMOD needs to create efficient data systems.
• Ensure network security and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with IT teams to analyze traffic and upgrades.
• Demonstrate analysis and IT solutions development.
• Produce and review technical documentation.
• Recommend methods to improve performance and quality.
• Create detailed network blueprints for LAN/WAN and intranets.
