Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Senior Information Protection Specialist to act as the technical expert for IP and acquisition security programs supporting major DoD and classified USAF initiatives. The role is on-site at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

The incumbent will manage SCIF operations, oversee security training for 200+ personnel, and provide day-to-day technical security services across a complex defense portfolio while ensuring compliance with DoD requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with active Top Secret clearance.
• Certification: Security Fundamentals Professional (SPED/SEP) or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Ten+ years of relevant experience, five+ years supporting DoD programs.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer IP, security, and OPSEC programs including SSAs up to Top Secret/SCI and SAP.
• Provide security guidance to integrated teams across security disciplines.
• Serve as Special Security Representative (SSR) for the SCIF and manage visitor clearance and access.
