Job summary

Apogee Engineering is seeking a Senior Information Protection Specialist to serve as the technical expert for IP and acquisition security programs supporting DoD and classified USAF programs at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. This on-site role manages rigorous security disciplines and coordination across multiple programs.

The ideal candidate brings active TS clearance, SPED certification or equivalent, and 10+ years of DoD experience, with preferred 15+ years.

Qualifications

US citizen at minimum
Active Top Secret clearance required
SPED Security Fundamentals Professional certification or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Ten (10) or more years of relevant DoD experience, five (5) of which supporting DoD
Preferred: Master’s degree with fifteen (15) or more years of DoD experience, five (5) in DoD

Responsibilities

Administer security programs for acquisition activities including Top Secret/SCI and SAP.
Provide guidance to cross-functional teams across security disciplines.
Serve as SSR for SCIF: vet visitor clearances and manage access.
Track SCIF training for 200+ personnel to ensure compliance.
Support ULTRA program: revised SCG and presented updates at PMR.
Deliver day-to-day technical security services across complex portfolios.
