Job summary

Apogee Engineering is seeking a Senior Information Protection Specialist to lead IP and acquisition security for major DoD and USAF programs. On-site at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio, you will manage security operations, provide technical guidance, and support investigative and compliance activities across ISR portfolios.

The role requires extensive DoD experience, Top Secret clearance, and SPED certification or plan to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen
• Active Top Secret clearance
• SPED Security Fundamentals certification or willing to obtain within 6 months
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 10+ years of relevant experience; 5+ with DoD
• Master's Degree preferred; 15+ years with DoD is a plus

Responsibilities

• Administer IP, acquisition security, and related programs.
• Provide security guidance to cross-functional teams and SSRs.
• Maintain JPAS accounts and verify clearances.
• Coordinate DoD security documentation and travel clearance requirements.
• Support security training, briefings, and program reviews.
• Ensure compliance with security laws and mitigate emerging risks.
