Collins Aerospace in Cheshire, CT is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for onsite work in our Design Engineering team. You will support New Product Development, Test Equipment, and Capital Expenditure planning, managing schedules and budgets while coordinating with stakeholders.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, and a proactive approach to solving schedule and resource challenges, enabling faster product introductions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Management/ Engineering methodologies.
• Experience leading/supporting new product development.
• Must be a U.S. Person – Military contract stipulates the candidates must be U.S. Persons.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide clear, concise communications with peers and Collins leadership.
• Conduct meetings and present plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project.
• Liaise between engineering teams, project teams, production line management.
• Oversee and coordinate administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
• Review project and budget status, manage schedules, and prepare reports.
• Meet program schedules and budgets; maintain the integrated master schedules for the project.
