Collins Aerospace in Cheshire, CT is seeking a Project Engineer to support New Product Development, test equipment development, and capital expenditure planning onsite. You will manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with engineering and production teams, and report progress to leadership to drive timely product introductions.

The ideal candidate has experience in project management, engineering methods, and new product development, and is a U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Management/ Engineering methodologies.
• Experience leading/ supporting new product development.
• US Person required with STEM degree and 3–5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 3+ years.

Responsabilités

• Provide clear communications with peers and Collins leadership.
• Consolidate and present plans and progress reports on business aspects of the project.
• Liaise between engineering, project teams, and production management.
• Oversee administrative and operational aspects within program guidelines.
• Review project and budget status, manage schedules, and prepare reports.
• Meet program schedules and maintain integrated master schedules.
• Identify project problems and suggest resource or contractual adjustments.
• Support proposal efforts with BOE/schedule development and data management.
• Coordinate hardware equipment modifications during development.
• Complete gated reviews to ensure schedule efficiency.
• Support capital equipment improvements research and management.
