Job summary

Selby Jennings, a leading asset manager, is seeking an Investment Grade Credit Research Analyst to join its Corporate Credit team with coverage across the Industrials sector. You will conduct fundamental research on investment grade issuers, develop independent credit recommendations, and partner with portfolio managers to identify attractive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience covering industrials.
• 5–10 years in credit research or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth fundamental credit research on investment grade industrial issuers.
• Build financial models focused on credit metrics and cash flow.
• Develop independent investment recommendations.
• Monitor earnings, rating actions, and industry trends.
• Conduct relative value analysis across issuers and cohorts.
• Prepare research reports and present views to PMs and committees.
• Meet with management, industry participants, and sell-side analysts.
• Collaborate with PMs to identify opportunities and assess portfolio risk.
• Maintain surveillance of holdings and report developments promptly.
