Job summary

Phenix Technologies seeks an Industrial Wiring Technician III in our Production Department to assemble and wire electrical test equipment from schematics, mounting components in cabinets and routing wires.

Responsibilities include soldering beyond PCB, working independently on standard and non-standard products, and collaborating with engineers while following safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; electronics or electrical technology classes preferred.
• Technical School in Electrical Technology is a plus; additional experience may be considered.
• 5-8 years of experience working in Industrial Wiring.
• Reading of Electrical Schematics.
• Soldering.
• Industrial Wiring, including wire layout / routing.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently on larger standard products and smaller non-standard products.
• Maintain high quality, accuracy, and time management.
• Communicate with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
• Conduct complex soldering beyond PC boards.
• Assist with on-the-job training when required.
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure quality.
• Complete tasks within allotted timeframe.
• Solder PC boards and other electrical connections.
• Mount components on a chassis and install assemblies in cases/cabinets.
• Assemble and wire standard units such as Regulators and Transformer Test Systems.
• May assist in different departments.
