Job summary

Phenix Technologies is seeking an Industrial Wiring Technician II to join the Production Department. You will assist with full assembly and wiring of electrical test equipment, using schematics to determine component layout and wire routing, and mounting parts in cabinets.

The role requires recognizing transformers, resistors, capacitors, relays, and other components. You will work on small, standard jobs, sometimes in other departments, and must follow written and verbal instructions, safety

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; preferably with electronics/electrical technology classes
• Technical School in Electrical Technology is a plus; additional experience may be considered
• 2 - 4 years of experience working in Industrial Wiring
• Reading of Electrical Schematics
• Electrical Wiring, including wire layout / routing
• Must be able to work alone or as part of a team
• Working knowledge of safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently on small, standard jobs.
• Assist team members in completing tasks and jobs.
• May be asked to assist in different departments.
• Understand and follow written and verbal communications.
• Follows policies and procedures to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy.
• Completing tasks and jobs within allotted timeframe.
• Soldering of PC boards and other electrical connections.
• Mounts assembled components on a chassis panel.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
• Complete assembly and wiring of standard units such as Control Pedestals, AC Dielectrics, PMM, RTS, and Wire Transformers
