Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of heavy industrial welding experience preferred; strong candidates with relevant training will be considered.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical instructions, and precision measuring tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply mathematical concepts.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel for basic documents and updates.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-pass, all-position fillet and butt welds using SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW.
• Apply welding techniques including submerged welding, oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, electro-slag, pulse MIG, and TIG.
• Operate, maintain, and monitor heat treatment furnaces daily.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and templates.
• Maintain compliance with welding procedures, WPS processes, and safety standards.
• Complete required training and maintain certifications, including Welder Workmanship Training (WWT).
• Use hand tools and instruments safely and effectively.
• Assist team members as needed and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
