AE2S, a leading engineering and environmental services firm, seeks a Senior Industrial Wastewater Process Engineer in Des Moines, IA. You will lead design and optimization of industrial wastewater treatment projects, ensuring performance, compliance, and client value.

You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and work with clients and regulators to deliver practical solutions from concept through startup. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
• PE registration ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 10+ years designing water or wastewater solutions.
• Experience interfacing with clients and leading multi-discipline projects.
• Experience in food and beverage industries.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Lead the planning, design, commissioning, and optimization of industrial wastewater systems.
• Act as the process technical lead on project teams, guiding treatment selection and hydraulics.
• Develop treatment solutions through studies, modeling, mass balances, and pilot tests.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to meet permitting and compliance.
• Direct teams in preparing cost estimates, docs, procedures from concept to startup.
• Advise clients by troubleshooting systems and supporting business development.
