Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Senior Industrial Wastewater Process Engineer in Maple Grove, MN. You will lead planning, design, and optimization of industrial wastewater systems, guiding technology selection, hydraulics, and project execution from concept through startup.

You will partner with clients and regulators, deliver innovative treatment solutions, and contribute to business development through proposals and strategy planning. A PE is ideal with 10+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer license ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 10+ years of experience designing water or wastewater systems and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, commissioning, and optimization of industrial wastewater systems.
• Serve as process technical lead on multidisciplinary projects and guide treatment tech selection.
• Develop treatability studies, modeling, mass balances, hydraulics, pilot testing.
• Collaborate with clients and regulators to navigate permitting and ensure compliance.
• Direct teams in preparing design deliverables from concept to startup.
• Advise clients to troubleshoot and optimize existing systems and support business development.
