Job summary

Weston & Sampson Services seeks a Lead Industrial Wastewater Treatment Operator to support contract operations for municipal and industrial clients from our Columbia or Greenville, SC offices. The ideal candidate holds a South Carolina Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment Operator license, Grade B or higher, with hands-on experience in rounds, monitoring, sampling, maintenance, chemical handling, and regulatory compliance.

Pay ranges between $35.00 and $42.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• SC Operator license, Grade B or higher, preferred or required depending on project needs.
• Out-of-state licenses may be eligible through reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Operate wastewater treatment systems safely and in accordance with client requirements and permit limits.
• Perform routine operator rounds and inspect equipment; record data and identify issues needing action.
• Collect samples, perform basic tests, read meters, and maintain compliant records.

Education

SC Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment Operator license, Grade B or higher
