Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4 years of wastewater operation experience.
• A South Carolina Class D Water Treatment Operator license required.
• A South Carolina Class C Biological Wastewater Treatment Operator license required.
• A South Carolina System Operator License.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of a water distribution system.
• Reading meters and gauges.
• Troubleshooting of plant equipment and performing minor maintenance.
• Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.

Skills

Wastewater operation experience

Good written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with Windows environment

Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

South Carolina Class D Water Treatment Operator license
