Job summary

Arrow Tank & Engineering LLC in Cambridge, MN is seeking a Senior Purchasing Agent to source materials, components, and services for pressure vessel and industrial fabrication projects. You will work with Engineering, Production and Quality teams to balance cost, quality, lead times and technical requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of progressive purchasing experience in industrial manufacturing and a strong knowledge of ASME and related standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive purchasing experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience sourcing pressure-retaining components, plate steel, forgings, fittings.
• Experience working with technical specs, supplier requirements, drawings, and purchasing docs.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, components, equipment and services for projects.
• Review requisitions, BOMs, drawings and project requirements to determine sourcing needs.
• Evaluate supplier quotations on price, quality, availability and lead time.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and payment terms with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance and risks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality and other departments to align material requirements.
