Job summary

CesiumAstro in Westminster, CO, is seeking a Senior Facilities Security Officer to lead complex security programs for government contracts and classified programs. You will administer security requirements, coordinate clearances, and address compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial and personnel security, and government security compliance.
• Knowledge of NISPOM and government security regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting government inspections and security investigations.

Responsibilities

• Administer industrial security activities in accordance with NISPOM and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate facility security, personnel security, classified material control, visitor management, and access across programs.
• Review classified program requirements and security documentation to identify compliance concerns.
• Evaluate security practices and access controls for government regulation compliance.
• Conduct security self-assessments, support inspections, and document findings and corrective actions.
• Investigate security discrepancies and determine escalation or corrective actions.
• Process and maintain personnel security clearances and visit requests using government systems.
• Collaborate with DCSA, government representatives, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on classified information handling and reporting obligations.
• Monitor changes to government security regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain security procedures, training materials, and compliance records.
• Recommend improvements to security processes and access controls.
• Support regulatory and programmatic security initiatives to strengthen operations.
