AeroVironment is seeking a Senior Security Manager to lead security operations of the National Industrial Security Programs (NISP). This position will report directly to the Director of Security, Industrial Security, with direct management across the Facility Security Officer workforce.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of hands-on Industrial Security across the security spectrum (DOD, IC, NISPOM).
• 6+ years of management/leadership in national security programs with budget oversight.
• Current DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• FSO Possessing Certification and Insider Threat Program Senior Official Training.
• Experience delivering security training (Initial Security Briefings, Insider Threat, CI, OPSEC).
• Experience constructing secure spaces (Closed Areas, SCIFs, SAPF).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development for security professionals. Ensure cohesion and diversity.
• Interface with corporate and government management on security issues.
• Coordinate with senior leaders to resolve security/compliance issues for employees, programs, facilities, and operations.
• Apply multi-discipline program security management to enable execution and cross-team collaboration.
• Oversee processes related to classified contract management, insider threat, ITAR/export security, and COMSEC.
• Manage integration of industrial security initiatives across the enterprise.
• Support site emergency and crisis management planning and execution.
• Oversee investigation of security incidents and assist with disciplinary matters.
