Job summary

IRM Industry Movers in New Caney, TX is seeking a Lead Rigger to expertly relocate industrial equipment, install machinery, and manage precision rigging on complex job sites. You will work with top-tier equipment to protect infrastructure and ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires at least 5 years of rigging experience, NCCCO Rigger Level I and Signalperson certs, OSHA 10/30, and travel up to 10%. Competitive hourly pay with overtime and bonuses, plus company training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in industrial rigging or heavy machinery moves.
• Active NCCCO Rigger Level I certification.
• Active NCCCO Signalperson certification.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Proficiency with rigging gear, Versa-Lifts, and aerial lifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, secure, move, and anchor complex machinery with precision alignment tools.
• Configure rigging gear, winches, cables, and blocks per load constraints.
• Operate Versa-Lifts, forklifts, aerial lifts, and hoists to move heavy loads.
• Coordinate hoisting with operators using standard signals.
• Assess routes and zones for hazards and personnel.
• Inspect and maintain rigging gear and temporary supports.
• Assist with field maintenance, welding, and warehouse tasks.
