Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Maintenance Specialist to ensure peak performance of critical manufacturing infrastructure. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems, troubleshooting, and applying lean improvements.

Ideal candidates will have 6–8 years in industrial maintenance, certifications such as Journeyman, RETA, or CMRT, and hands-on experience with 120/208/240/480 V systems and safety protocols.

Qualifications

6–8 years in an industrial maintenance environment.
Proven ammonia refrigeration system operation and maintenance.
One or more recognized certifications (Journeyman electrical/mechanical, RETA, CMRT).
Proficient with 120/208/240/480 V systems and electrical safety.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia and Freon).
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
Interpret blueprints and schematics to perform repairs and upgrades.
Manage spare parts inventory for facility readiness.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Carry out safety audits and maintain a compliant work environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support lean improvements.
