Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Senior Development Manager to lead the acquisition and development of industrial real estate supporting the NACF network. You will drive end-to-end transaction execution from site identification to lease or purchase, balancing strategic objectives with rapid execution and complex deal structures across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering.
• 5+ years of real estate transactions, real estate development, and/or financial analysis experience.
• Experience with entitlements, zoning, and permitting processes for industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end acquisition and development transactions for large-scale fulfillment center projects.
• Perform due diligence on zoning, environmental conditions, and infrastructure factors.
• Develop a long-term pipeline of industrial real estate opportunities to anticipate capacity needs.
• Build financial models to evaluate feasibility, investment returns, and site comparisons.
• Negotiate leases, purchase agreements, development agreements, and related instruments.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Navigate entitlements and permitting processes with government officials.
• Travel across North America up to 30% to evaluate sites and manage transactions.
