The Weitz Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sr. Project Superintendent for our Industrial team to lead field operations on complex projects, with semiconductor experience preferred.

The role will drive safety culture and partner with Project Managers to manage schedule, budget and staff. You will build strong client and subcontractor relationships, supervise subcontractors and craft two-week lookahead schedules while supporting buyouts and cost-reduction initiatives; travel nationwide as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; industry-related college degree preferred.
• Eight+ years of field and project construction management experience; industrial experience and semiconductor exposure preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents; strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore, JDE and Asta; willingness to learn company software.

Responsibilities

• Construct the project in accordance with plans, schedule, specifications and standards.
• Lead subcontractors and field employees on a jobsite.
• Lead project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to manage schedule, budget and staff.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule; prepare two-week look aheads.
• Assist with buyout and selection of major subcontractors.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve schedule dates and quality.
• Ensure project documents are accurate and compliant (closeout docs, submittals, daily logs).
• Review and enforce all contract terms and obligations.
• Adhere to company policies, standards and procedures.
