HSM (Hickory Springs Manufacturing) Company in North Carolina seeks an experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance professional. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, interpret schematics, support PLC/HMI troubleshooting, and perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical, 7+ years of industrial maintenance, and strong skills with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motor controls, and VFDs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical or related field.
• 7+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and automation systems.
• Solid understanding of motor controls, VFDs, and power distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
• A safety-first mindset with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems (AC/DC circuits, motors, VFDs, control panels).
• Diagnose issues on PLC-controlled equipment and automated machinery.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control layouts.
• Support PLC and HMI troubleshooting and system improvements.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to optimize system performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement lasting solutions.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and LOTO requirements.
