Job summary

STARCON International, Inc. in Texas seeks Industrial Pipe Fitters with four or more years in piping for chemical plants or refineries. Qualifications

• Four or more years’ experience in piping for chemical plants and/or refineries.
• Responsible for fit up and construction of piping systems.
• Ability to cut, thread, assemble and install piping and fittings in various materials.
• Install pipe hangers and perform hydro-tests and air tests for leaks.
• Must understand P&ID drawings and isometrics and have strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Fit up and construction of piping systems in chemical plants/refineries.
• Cut pipe using power tools, pipe cutter and cutting torch.
• Thread pipe using threading machine; assemble and install piping and fittings.
• Install pipe hangers and perform hydro-tests/air tests for leaks.
• Work with various materials including carbon, brass, copper and stainless steel.
