Sulzer is seeking a Senior Industrial Motor & Generator Mechanic to lead hands-on repairs of heavy rotating equipment. You will disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble, and test motors, generators, pumps, and gearboxes while guiding other technicians and ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Advanced mechanical and electromechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Strong understanding of industrial rotating equipment repair practices.
• Ability to inspect components and identify causes of failure.
• Ability to train and mentor less experienced mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Independently teardown, inspect, repair, and reassemble motors, generators, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Perform balancing, vibration analysis, alignment, and testing of rotating equipment.
• Read drawings, specs, and repair procedures; ensure safety and quality.
• Mentor developing mechanics and promote safe shop practices.
