Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Sr. Project Engineer to design and evaluate integrated systems for industrial production processes, including human factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow.

You will mentor junior engineers and act as a technical advisor. Responsibilities include leading multi-project design, client interaction, and coordinating with PMs to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program.
• 10 or 12+ years of experience in industrial mechanical engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design for multiple concurrent projects and tasks for your discipline.
• Assist Project Manager with consultative services to the client by understanding client requirements, recommendations, and solutions to enhance client experience.
• Attends client meetings or interviews in support of project manager.
• Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
• Design projects using advanced discipline knowledge, client specifications and guidelines using design software and drawing tools.
• Develop solutions to complex problems and share best practices/lessons learned on a wide scale (company, client, or industry)
• Defining parameters, reviewing, and presenting alternative studies based on experience and advanced engineering knowledge.
• Prepare or lead the preparation of engineering documents, technical reports, memos, etc.
• Evaluate and collaborate on discipline’s workflow and standard operating procedures to increase efficiency.
