Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Systems or related field.
• Experience estimating mechanical/process for industrial construction, advanced manufacturing, or large-scale capital projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, HVAC, and utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for mechanical and process construction scopes on large-scale projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for piping, equipment, HVAC, utilities, and related systems.
• Review drawings, piping isometrics, layouts, specs, and bid documents for requirements.
• Develop estimates for labor, materials, equipment, fabrication, installation, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals for scope completeness and pricing accuracy.
• Identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, risks, and opportunities for value engineering.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout preconstruction and execution.
• Participate in design-build estimating, conceptual budgeting, bid reviews, and reconciliation.
• Maintain estimating documentation and historical cost data for future projects.
