Job summary

Texas Injection Molding LLC in Houston seeks an experienced maintenance professional to work with the Maintenance Manager to sustain up-time and optimize equipment utilization across the plant. You will document preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines, hydraulics, motors and electrical systems, and drive continuous improvement.

On-call 24 hours and 5S housekeeping are part of the role, along with maintaining calibration of controls and keeping detailed

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience maintaining industrial equipment including injection molding machines
• Experience with hydraulic repair, motors, pumps, etc.
• Ability to diagnose problems and devise timely, budget-conscious repairs

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-time and optimum equipment utilization
• Create and document preventative maintenance procedures
• Troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment
• Operate mobile equipment (skid loaders, scissor lifts, forklifts) as needed
• Maintain maintenance schedules, installations, and work orders
• Manage maintenance budget and expenses
• On-call 24 hours for maintenance issues
• Maintain calibration of injection machine controls and screws/barrels
• Provide technical assistance on facility maintenance including electrical, building, plumbing
• Drive continuous improvement across operations
• Maintain clean, safe 5S workspace
• Maintain company grounds for safety and orderliness
• Perform other related duties as assigned
