Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a U.S. manufacturing client in Phoenix, AZ. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding and other production equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong electrical/mechanical troubleshoot skills, and knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Basic PLC understanding is a plus; injection molding experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and controls.
• Basic understanding of PLC programming and logic.
• Injection molding or plastics manufacturing experience a plus.
• Technical degree or related training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production and injection molding equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Troubleshoot servos, sensors, motor drives, temperature controllers, and control components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and help minimize equipment downtime.
• Use meters, gauges, and diagnostic tools to identify equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot computer-based controllers and basic PLC logic.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and production issues.
• Support equipment installations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation.
